Baby Beric :)

D'aww. That is the most adorable thing. Love the name, too! :)

My day consisted of a horrendous day of work. I spent half of my shift being trained on the new phone system we're going to start using in mid-December, so only having to actually be on the phone for four hours or so should have been a'ight.

False.

I had nothing but customers bitching at me, and was going out of my way to try to appease them. Nothing worked. I used my most soothing voice and everything, which usually works like a charm. No dice. And I only collected two grand today. Weak sauce. That's around $500/hr, and I need $850/hr for the week's average to get my incentive pay. That's usually no problem for me. Today was just ****ing horrible.

Oh, and I got the worst external QA I've ever received...a 77%. It was from yesterday, when I was working with a fever and flu-like symptoms because I really didn't think I had enough occurrences to call off. I was not on my game yesterday.

Seriously? People who don't/can't pay their bills usually acquiesce to a soothing voice? I personally have never had to deal with debt collectors but if I did I wouldn't stay on the phone with one for more than 5 seconds.

That is one seriously cute kitten! :) How do you pronounce the name? Is it bear-itch or berr-ick? Looks all tuckered out too, poor love.

Richard Dormer is Northern Irish, a bit of a break from your Scottish fetishism. :P

I'm sick and I've spent the entire day working on almost-overdue psychology homework. This has been a long, annoying day. I just submitted the last of it, and am closing this horrible psych book, grabbing a good book, and curling up in hot tub. Hopefully I'll feel better after a soak.

Got paid today. Decided to do some Christmas shopping. Ended up at Walmart after work, staring at a crockpot for fifteen minutes, and ultimately leaving empty-handed. I need to make a list or something. I've got $700 and another $700+ check before Christmas to look forward to. And one bitchy check the Friday after Christmas which helps me none. I guess it's my New Years Eve booze fund or some ****.

Got paid today as well. Realized that every paycheck, my bank account balance increases by 2,000 dollars no matter how much I spend. This has happened like 4 times already. I can't, for the life of me, understand how I'm not spending enough money to offset this, try as I may.
Life is hard.

I have a similar problem. I feel that working 40 hours a week means that no matter what I do, how much booze I end up buying, gas to drive an hour to and from work, and all of my other miscellaneous expenses still leave me with several hundred dollars at the end of each pay period.

That is money I'm putting into savings, though. Going to train with Lance Storm and what not, as soon as I can.

Think I'm gonna sit by the Harbour today to get out of this motel room.
