I'm sure you were looking up porn on the Internet before it was even invented.

Too....much...writing...

Did you know that the xyloglucan/cellulose network of the plant cell wall used to be thought of as the primary load bearing network of the plant cell, but evidence shows now that xyloglucan is more important for cell wall loosening during active growth rather than support?

Well, I know.

And about 100+ more pages worth of stuff like that.

I can't wait till this thesis is done......

So what exactly happens when this occurs? Would that be similar to a snake shedding its skin? Interesting. Good luck, i'd be climbing the walls for sure.

Started my new job today working in Telesales, 9-6. f*ck that. Didn't sleep at all last night either so have been milling around like a zombie for the last few hours.
Although I have to hand it to my new employers, I haven't met (on first impressions) a cooler bunch of people and it looks like I'll fit in nicely. £250 a week plus uncapped commission too, can't go wrong with that.
The only issue is that it's a 'survival of the fittest' industry and if I don't meet sales targets, I lose my job. lol.

****... best of luck with that man. I can't say I ever did well in jobs like that. Wasn't born to be in retail.

Are you actually curious? I may complain, but this is my field...and once I get started I can't stop.

To answer your question, though...cell walls are made up of cellulose (what paper's made of, mostly), pectin (what jelly/jam is made of), and cross linkers (which is the xyloglucan I was talking about). The cellulose gives the plant cell the ability to withstand water pressure (which helps a plant stay upright) and the pectin gives it flexibility to move around and expand as the cell grows. The cross linkers (xyloglucan) were thought to hold everything in place. This view hasn't changed, but we used to think they were more vital to the wall's integrity than they really are...there have been mutants with no xyloglucan that do just fine. Those same mutants are tiny, though, giving us a hint that they might be more vital in loosening the network and allowing it to expand so the cell can grow.

Something tells me that's a bit more than you wanted, though hahaha. What can I say...plant cells are on my mind...

No thats exactly what I was after. I find it amazing that we can still learn new things about nature and the science behind it. It amazes me that we haven't found out everything we possibly could about plant life even to date. I guess thats why we have guys like yourself to delve into this mystery and see how it can benefit us in life.

I think you'll be a natural at this man. I've been at it for years and I would just advise that you always remain focused and knowledgable on your product. Tear it up.

Thanks guys, it's just concerning me a little that I'm back out of full time work if I slip up one week or can't persuade enough people out of their cash.
There are no definite's and I could be gone any given week. However, I shall strive to bring in the money.
Going to Uni in September regardless, but I could but up quite a bit of cash before if all goes well.

So on the birthday swag front:

A Song of Ice and Fire (the entire collection. I know how I'm spending the next five years of my life)

John Dies At The End

Mogworld

The Weeknd - Trilogy

Atoms For Peace - Amok

A$AP Rocky - LONG.LIVE.A$AP

A pledge of payment for Daft Punk's new album when it comes out and a ticket to go and see them if they do a tour alongside it

This shirt

This poster (not actually arrived yet as I only discovered and asked for it the other day thanks to Vsauce3)

And a motherlumping set of Adventure Time plushies. Easily the best present ever right there.

Past the material gain the day's been pretty good. It's probably my worst day of the fortnight in timetable terms and I have a pretty serious day tomorrow so I can't go out and get what we in the business of refinement call "wankered" but... well, people can make the worst situations enjoyable when they put effort into it, as nobody said ever because they're all far better at wording things than that.
