I hope I grow from this, I did from the last time but this feels like a completely different emotion. I'm distraught honestly, and it's tearing me down. Not even channel ORANGE is making me feel better, and that's how you know. But seriously, I love the advice you're laying down. It's helping me out.

Being distraught is probably not going to do much for you, other then exhaust you emotionally...being in love is taxing in and of itself without all the extra, repugnant self deprecation that is probably being tossed around your brain right now... so go easy on yourself slugger...

YOU WILL LEARN FROM THIS.! you are already learning from it, I can tell by the the emotion in your post... because you feel like a complete douche knocker, you should be able to really learn from it and draw from it later in life...

and something, I want to place out on the table, and I am only stating this because it is something I HAVE EXPERIENCE with... falling in love with someone with terminal illness, is a very complicated thing... the ins and outs, and the nuances of it are, not exactly as black and white as they are with relationships where both parties have a...ahhhmm a long life expectancy... now, I don't know how your lady friends health is, but just remember that.... and BE KIND to yourself....

My turn today and I managed 17 miles which is the second highest distance so far. Not bad for an unfit golden oldie and shame on the 20 year olds at my place who were beaten ;)

Lot's of negative things have happened over the last few days but achieving that today is a good highlight so let's focus on the positives.

That's pretty awesome Lee! What is the charity for? And what negative things happened? Talk to me!

I think you're my favorite friend on MB. It isn't terminal, I hope. But I understand, and I'll take it easy on myself, I promise. Thank you very much Rox :)

Slow Groove,
You cheered me up once when I was feeling down so I won't pass too much judgment, at least no further than I already have. :P

When did I cheer you up? And I don't mind judgment, I deserve it for being a first rate tool, but at least I visualize and analyze my mistakes unlike a lot of dudes I've met.

Well ok I'm kind of sensitive and so when I was about to cry (sometimes do this for no real reason) you announced you made a $35 paycheck and were tickled pink about it.
It's kinda like kicking someone when they're down, is another way of looking @ it, lol. j/k
