Dinosaurs are a step down from all the other things you listed on my personal cool scale.

I'm not saying I hate dinosaurs. Just that I am neutral to them.

Neutral on giant reptiles that can rend the flesh from your bones and pick their teeth with your femur? I'm seriously considering putting you on my Ignore list.

Jurassic Park the movie was horrible. The book was amazing.

You're obviously smoking crack. However the hell you thought you were supposed to be watching that movie was obviously wrong. The point of that movie was seeing realistic dinosaurs. The rest of the movie was there to set the stage for the dinosaurs. And as much as I dig some of Michael Crichton's books he is highly overrated. Underneath all the legitimately interesting science he's just another mediocre thriller writer.

Only when I watch Jurassic Park. I find with Spielberg movies that I can take them or leave them honestly. I needed crack to get through that movie honestly. I'd say a majority of his books are well written and thats reflected in him continually churning out best sellers. I think they should have delved more into the science aspect of the process in creating the dinosaurs as that was the most interesting aspect of the story for me.

I never really thought about science til I started watching Mythbusters, seriously. They make science so cool.

Some dinosaurs were designed in such a stupid fashion that it seems normal that they died out. They were pretty neat creatures and their remains are fascinating and terrifying, but damn, if creationists ever needed a reason to doubt the power of their deity, just look at the tyrannosaurus rex. Those tiny little arms, what a joke.

On an unrelated note, maintenance pulled apart the dishwasher today and found nothing wrong with it. I guess it just smells weird because it's old.

I love Spielberg. I watched Schindler's List the other day, it was brilliant. I even watched a documentary about the original holocaust survivers and their stories.

I've never watched that show but will definitely catch up on the internet. I want to do another science degree with Chemistry this time. But first I need to finish Computer science.
