Ok so I went to bed last night, and pot was illegal in Fla.
Woke up this morning its legal for medical purposes. Having a legit reason, (that is not the standard I have glaucoma excuse.) this makes me very very happy. Makes me happy because if there is ever a way for me to afford the medication that I need to stay alive, which costs an absurd 2,800.00 month with insurance, the side effects will be of that drug will be brutal, and pot will ease those symptoms. Not like I haven't been smoking the **** for years and blowing the bong smoke out under my covers in the closet with the light off. But still. The funny part about this bill is that it is a low grade form of thc, that is not approved for smoking, yet we supposedly have 5 dispensary's (I dunno where they are cause I have never seen one.) that will allow you to pick up the low grade medical version.

So I have prepared myself for my first trip to the dispensary already.

"Umm is that stronger then that crap I get in the hood when I am out of the good medical grade that is shipped in from CO?"
" Yes? Excellent I'll take 1.5 lbs please!"
" What's that you say, I can't smoke it?"
" Oh right I am not gonna smoke it I am gonna go home and knit a sweater with it and sniff the goodness."

No its to be made into a sweater only. But I will wear my grass sweater everywhere even in July.

Yes it usually does. But since it burst so long ago and I was misdiagnosed, my appendix and colon created a sort of wall (at least how I understood it)which makes removing it much more difficult. I was very lucky, as I guess this does not happen in many cases. So now instead they're giving me antibiotics until they can actually get in and remove it. Apparently it could be up to 2 months.

As for the pain I was in severe pain when it actually burst, but the doctor told me it was probably just a stomach virus and after the IV treatment I was much better. My gut doesn't feel great now (off and on pain) but its much more tolerable. I still don't know what to do about my job/move either ugh.

Says a lot about how shitty my financial situation has been over the past five years. :laughing:

We have a few dispensaries around here, I personally can't enter them because I don't have a card but a few of my friends do. They said it's all behind glass, almost like going to a pawn shop, pretty professional.

But they know exactly what you're doing with that pot and don't give a **** haha. They set up dispensaries to help people and make money, last thing they gonna do is judge or make sure your paperwork is perfect.

Since they're abiding by state law and not federal law, the dispensaries are VERY careful about how they operate their business for fear of being raided, so they're very likely to be meticulous about the paperwork. They may operate differently in Florida but that's how it is in Cali.
