Pretty sure members from Warm Soda, one of my favorite bands lately, came into my workplace today. I couldn't tell for sure bc it had been a while since I'd seen any pictures of the band but it's pretty likely it was them.. it was pretty cool if it was them.

Starting next week my company is going to a 4 day work week - we get Fridays off from now on.

Awesome!

Starting next week me and Lin are getting our salaries cut by 20%. Gonna mean some serious tightening of our belts.

Not as awesome.

But we still have jobs. (we've both worked for the same small family owned company for the last 18 years)

I was fooling around on my digital piano, and something must have gotten buggered with my headphones, because the electric piano sounds had lost their edge entirely. You know how when you hit a note, there's a sort of click, and then it rings out? Well, it was completely omitting the click, and the result was something extra-terrestial. I just floored the damper and played "Strawberry Fields Forever" without lifting it once. Really trippy. I'm trying to figure out if there's a way I can reproduce the sound without the faulty headphones.

Does your keyboard have an option where you can reduce the attack?

I was so manic today that I was unstoppable at work.

Afterward I shared a joint with two of my favorite youngsters.

About to have a strong drink to wind down.

Life's cool.

Discussed GMOs in my marketing class today and it came down to me and this other dude against the whole class (including the teacher) defending GMOs. Put those uneducated ducks in their place.
