Yo know, during the first episode I was thinking that the actress playing Deb kinda sucked. Now that I'm through 5 episodes I realize that she's pretty great. She uses so many little inflections that allow Deb's many offbeat quirks to come through.

Was nice to see Doakes finally giving Deb some props last night for the blindfold suggestion.

After Dex, Deb is easily the best character in the show, and one of the best cop characters of all time. Also one of the few "skinny" girls who doesn't just look like she needs to eat a hamburger. Would marry (although only if the actress has just as foul a mouth).

Came home for the weekend since I have Monday off. When I came home I had never seen my dog so excited, I think I shocked the hell out of him. Visited with my family for a while, getting together with Wolves In Sheepskin tomorrow, and taking this weekend off from that pesky sober business.
