i'm sure pollock has put more blood, sweat, tears, and years of formal training under similarly self-indulging professors into his random distribution of varying colors of paint onto an empty surface than my ex's mediocre classmate or shanaynay's korean nail artist, but the end result is more or less the same.

but i look at it and see absolutely nothing worth taking a second glance at tbh. i'm sort of jaded about it i guess... it reminds me of my ex gf who went to art school and tried to convince me that when her classmate painted a canvas solid red it was somehow a statement worth taking the time to appreciate. i mean i can appreciate that art comes in many forms... but to me this kind of **** is artistically on par with one of shanaynay's nail jobs.

So I've officially turned 25 and I'm still not sure how I feel about that. I'm happy that it's my birthday but that's about it.
