Sorry for your loss, that's real rough. Stay centred.

That's understandable, that sounds exactly like the relationship i have with my best friend and if i lost him i would be a wreck too. I once lost a dear friend awhile back and it helped my grieving process to make a song in his honor, maybe that could help you out too eventually.

Back when I did shrooms I always had to wait a few months before I was really in the mood to do it again.
I like to take a normal dose trip at least once a week, but leave it a couple of months between heavy dose experiences.

Psychedelics are my thing though. Bought a sheet of acid one time (60 trips in all) thinking it would last several months, it was gone in 2 weeks between 2 people. Once dropped acid every 8 hours for 72 hours. Another time took shrooms every night for 7 nights in a row, increasing the dosage each night. I really like tripping.

I never know what to say when real stuff happens, but I've never lost a human friend before, but this song always makes me think about it and gets me misty-eyed. I listened to it on repeat when I lost my cat a little while ago. I'm not one for believing in the afterlife, but this is one of those scenarios that makes me wish for it.

Maybe this will mean something.

This isn't so much relevant to Plankton, but my best friend and I don't really know many of the same people, and almost never see each other's family, so there's a decent chance that if one of use died the other wouldn't know about it for a while. We only ever get into contact on the phone, and since I've been out of work for so long, saving the minutes on my Tracphone, we generally don't talk for long or call each other unless we're trying to hang out, which is far less often than I'd like due to money issues and at least a thirty minute travel time to my house (he has a car but I don't).

It's a thought that occasionally occurs to and upsets me, since the only way we'd know would be if one of our mothers had the presence of mind in their grief to remember that their son had a friend who'd need to know, or if they kept our phones and actually answered them when one of us called. Since my Tracphone doesn't require a monthly payment, this wouldn't be all that unlikely, but his is on a monthly payment, so if I didn't call him within that time period and couldn't find any of his family in a phone book, it would take some legwork just to get into contact.

At the very least, we may very well end up missing the other's funeral. That would be hard to take.

We've both had inconsistent internet access. I think he's back to not having any. Now that I have a job to pay for more minutes on my phone, maybe it's time to start talking regularly again.

Condolences Plank.
Stay strong.
A friend died recently and I was really ****ed up afterwards. But, although I've known him for a long time, we weren't that close and hardly had contact in the last few years. I can't imagine how it'd be losing one of my few really close friends.

You're hardcore.
Well if your psyche can take it and it doesn't screw up your daily life, then why not.

Bought a WiFi extender for the house and couldn't get the damn thing hooked up. Made me feel better that the technical support guy from Netgear also had a hard time getting it talking to the router and other devices correctly.
