Bought my first Bowie CD a year ago today--a two-disc best of with 38 tracks. I remember being disappointed in almost every track post-"Rebel Rebel" and thinking I should have bought Ziggy Stardust instead. Needless to say, it was an important day in the evolution of my taste.

Installed Ableton Live on my computer today. Holy crap is it fun. I'm an awesome, although incredibly amteurish, band.

This is what I've used my whole electronic career for Daydream Society and it's an awesome program. I feel like anything is possible with it and the interface is really nice

I take off for Miami at ten tomorrow morning! Can't wait to escape the cold.

I'm with my family, so it would probably be awkward.

I forgot you were a youngster. Just tell your Mom she's your new babysitter.

Good lord, the possibilities of a juicy comeback are virtually endless...

I had a job interview with the National Trust on Monday and it was the shortest interview I've ever had. I walked in, was asked my name, answered, and was told the job's mine. Turns out a guy who I've been volunteering with who works for the National Trust put in a good word for me. And best of all I'll be working in and helping to maintain these beautiful grounds:

My new office is a little stone cottage with a log burning stove, many comfy couches and a beautiful, lazy cat. And I'll be working fewer hours than I have been, but taking home more pay.

It's practically my dream job. Happy days.
