Yesterday I put my bands Queens of Shiva and Wolves in Sheepskin together and it went as well or better than you'd expect it to go.

Then in the evening I saw Silver Apples perform. One of the two opening acts, The Mattson 2, was really a awesome jazz duo. Then Silver Apples played with only Simeon performing. He kicked ass. During the encore (You and I), he collapsed on stage from what was probably a heat stroke that had him in and out of consciousness for a good five minutes. When they revived him, he finished the song like a ****ing champ (with his wife and venue staff at the ready). It was a really surreal concert experience.
