how did you know that about your ex? did you just make assumptions or did you actually get back together with your ex then find out?

We had the same friends so I had an idea what was going on.

To cut a long story short she fucked off to get back with her ex bf, it went tits up and she would send me pretty much what you posted, every time I would respond she would go cold, was just throwing breadcrumbs to see if I was still into her. Eventually I cut off all contact & about six months later she was pretty much kicking my door down trying to get back with me, I did (ffs ) then she fucked off again

oh wow, sorry you had to deal with that.

with this guy, at the time i was with him, he was dealing with some issues and it seemed to me like the whole thing was making him really insecure. he would take it out on me. and that was sort of why it ended. as far as i know, he hasn't been with anybody since. we talked on the phone for an hour today. it seemed to me like the problems he was dealing with when we were together are mostly over so i don't know. after he called i felt like **** cuz i am so confused. at first i thought no way am i getting back together with him. but now the more and more i think about it the more i do want to get back together with him. for the most part, we got along so so well. i dunno what to do
