Last good one we got here in SoCal (nothing like what Japan's experienced this century....... yet....) we both were on the second floor and immediately crouched in a doorway - one of the most reinforced areas of a home.

Mord, do you have a stash of emergency supplies in the event of a major meltdown? I have enough water, food, and other essentials to last for at least a few weeks.

And enough Chef Boyardee to choke an elephant.

Absolutely. One thing we did a few years ago is we had our house re-done to be completely electric. No gas. That means our new water heater can also be accessed by a spigot in case we need drinking water. We also have a lot of canned goods, etc. We have our "earthquake bag", too, which has all our passports, medical insurance cards, and a stack of cash. Just in case...

Instead of preparing for a big quake I'd rather be one of the guys who ****s **** up for no good reason in your typical post-apocalypse.

^You'd be the first to die. The real world isn't the internet where you get to bully people without consequences.

I own a gun in California. I'd basically own San Diego.
