I agree. And a lot of the time office jobs just want you to have bachelors in something, it doesn't matter if it's medieval literature or sociology or theater, just as long as you have that degree.

Exactly. There's a woman who works in our center's office doing clerical work with a BS in Applied Physics. They require a BA to be an assistant manager at Trader Joe's, how many TJ's managers would you wager actually majored in business or something related?

My guess would be that most of them have environmental studies degrees.

Yep. I'm a web developer with a BFA in design, another developer I work with has a cartography degree, a proofreader I work with has a music degree, an account manager I work with has a journalism degree, and those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Idk about in Cali, but there are TONS of envl positions available for me here in NJ. I know Oregon just opened a ton of positions as well for forestry related work.
