Don't worry, I'm sure she left him the nerdy, useless junk.

OK, maybe I missed something here, but didn't you just get gloriously married just a few months ago - or maybe a year at the most?
When you say "everything", are you talking about all of these things that you've been buying and posting about over the past 2 years?

(We have two sets of double doors here).

(We have two sets of double doors here).

Specifically, she took all the home goods - all the paper towels, toilet paper, dishes, cutlery, all cooking utensils, all my pots and pans, my brooms, dustpans, the bath mat, toilet cover and floor mat, all the curtains and window dressings, most of the furniture, the entire dining room set and decor, the gypsy reading nook I'd built with the Indian tapestries and Moroccan lanterns and antique wine crates repurposed as bookshelves, its mattress and risers... all of which I purchased, an antique 1950-era television, all the linens, dishcloths, towels, washcloths, chairs, tables, all of the wall and surface decor, the air conditioners, the toaster oven, the antique framed art pieces I'd bought, paintings, tintypes, daguerreotypes, all the shelves... right down to the antique iron rocking bench from my porch which I'd purchased with the home. (Sorry, I may have mentioned that above.)

She also stole a number of my antiques from my office, most of which I was able to identify were missing and demand returned. (She made me guess what she'd taken.)

That's what I mean by 'she took just about everything'.

Again: so this is the woman that you just got gloriously married to just a few months ago - or maybe a year at the most?
If this is the case, I'm completely puzzled by how it all went 180 so quickly. Did you know her for more than a few days before you married?
If you've already talked about this, then point me to the mini-thread on it 'cause I'm totally taken aback - well, maybe not as much as you, but...

You should call a lawyer and tell a judge she violated the divorce agreement or some ****. Trolling your ex-wife sounds pretty sweet.

Yeah, I'm still curious as to why she was allowed to take all that stuff.

Yeah, I was kinda serious with my joke post. Taking a few things as a dick move is to be expected I guess, but if she took as much as you say then that sounds like something to pursue. I don't know if anyone will do anything about it, but if it were me I'd be a total dick about it, if only as a return "**** you".

Sometimes its easier to just let it go. He just wants to get on with his life. I wouldnt blame you for taking your losses just to avoid any further contact, ISB.

Precisely DWV - I decided to choose my battles and let go of the material possessions to placate her sufficiently to get her out of the house for good. I consider it a small price to pay to get my life back.
