I went skiing on a weekday, so there was next to no one there. Knee deep power. Decent visiblity. A run we nicknamed "permanently closed for avalanche control" was open. And I got to the back bowl of the summit (which has orgasmically deep powder when you hike the ridge) just as the patrolswere dropping the ropes.

I bought so much crap today. $800 worth of outdoor gear. No tents or anything thats as big as 800 bucks should look, but a pair of tramping boots, some bloody NASA made jackets (not really NASA but it's basically rocket science stuff) and some minor bits and pieces.

The past few days have sucked quite a bit. I went to the movies with my girlfriend and a few other mates and me and my girlfriend got in a fight, not sure if she's still pissed off at me now. Then I stayed at a mates house which was fun, but I was still pretty depressed. Next day I went to the beach, now I'm f*ckin pink and then today, done sh*t all. And tomorrow, I'm off to the hell hole they call New Zealand
