Had a dentist appointment today (paid for as a late birthday present from my grandparents and yes I asked for that for my birthday cause I was WAY past due) and the damage was way less than I thought it would be. Apparently I have very strong enamel so that helped. Still gonna be $800 to fill some cavities but I figured it would be considerably more, so I'll be doing some scrimping and cutting back on my drinking. Yay.

****ing Hell. You could have bought half a motor sickle with that money. Money grabbing bastard American dentists! Pretty sure fillings are free here, so minus 800 dollars if you lived here. Please don't move here.

Yeah those are all fillings. If you can pay for my ticket to Ireland and pay for my citizenship then I can get my five cavities filled for free and be awesome.

And what the **** is a motor sickle? Some kind of automatic harvesting device?

Been amping up the website development side of our company targeted towards smaller businesses / local market these past two months. On average we close about 4-7K worth of web dev (plus recurring maintenance services and hosting) for every $600 spent on outbound lead generation. Pretty good ROI...trying to find ways to increase the close rate more.

I also have a new marketing partner (ex-Marine) that took a local company from 0 to 52K in less than two weeks and lives + breathes SEO. Things are looking up.

It's a hog, boy. Don't ya know nothin'?
And sorry, but there are already posters in every Irish airport warning against letting you into the country. Can't think who put them up......

Failed my road test today. It's incredibly frustrating - being a 36-year-old homeowner with a brand new car in my driveway and insurance that I'm paying for, but I still have to get up at five in the morning before the sun and take the bus to work and come home in the dark again every night.

I'd hoped to have my license before the snow but it looks like we're getting hit this weekend. My housemate hasn't been available for me to practice so I've only had 15 minutes behind the wheel in the last 10 years, which is probably why I scored a 20/100 on the road test.

The real challenge is finding an available test appointment during their busiest season that coincides with the limited availability of my housemate to accompany me to the road test. This ordeal could stretch out for months.

My next test is on Tuesday, this time in the heart of downtown. So I'll have to make up 55 points worth of competency in the next 6 days, on top of having to take the test downtown and (likely) in the snow.

I can't wait for this to be over with.

No offense, but I'm glad you failed your test if you got a score of 20. That test is pretty easy for a capable driver which means that you're just not there yet. I'd practice every chance you get because the roads can be pretty hectic this time of year and one less inexperienced driver on the road is safer, especially with the snow coming.

F*ck man. I wish I lived close to you because I'd teach you how to drive the right way. What parts are you having trouble with?

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-07-2017 01:33 PM

i'm assuming it's the part where he's in the car and attempting to drive it.
