One of my history professors told the class that bombing Hiroshima was necessary.

I took an astronomy class in college where, in the last class, when the professor was recapping the whole semester, a woman raised her hand and asked, in complete seriousness, "So… the Sun is a star?"

The Germany thing just makes me think the person was putting it on tbh. Pretending to be dumb for the sake of it.

I can understand some of the stuff posted, like Easter Island (maybe not a teacher but the average person yeah) and that.

But not Germany.

Or Hitler.

How does an adult not know stuff like that?

I once met a person who hadn't ever heard about native indians. Cowboys, indians, feathers in their hair, tomahawk axes, buffaloes, etc... Native indians didn't ring any bells to this person. This guy must have never watched any movies or read any comics as a kid. Maybe he spent his formative years staring into a brick wall.
