Finally have a regular day job again. (Still broke, however.) Job ends June 30th. I hope I'll be able to move out of Louisiana by Halloween, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm not adjusting to my new schedule very well; I have to get up extra extra early to ensure I can get to work some way or another. This requires five alarms + two phone calls from friends to make sure I'm awake. (.. and yet, of course, I have no problem waking up at 4 am for no reason if it's the weekend or something.)

Also, I now own a wonderful unfinished painting of an eyeless 1960s actress (my best friend never finished it--he couldn't get the eyes right, he said-- so he let me have it.)

Congrats on the job even if it’s miserable

Waking up early gets easier the more you do it. Though I say that because I've done it for so long. But congrats on the job even if it is for a little bit.

I guess I can't sympathize since i have a job that I love and love going to it every day. I'm obviously in the minority so I'm speaking highly of myself.

Who cares?

I wouldn't say I love my job, but its different everyday, not very stressful, and I learn a lot. Also, I work by myself most of the time with spotify playing.

You know what you must do. I'm talking of course of carefully cutting around the eyes, then hanging the painting where you can stand behind it and look through the actress's eyes at your visitors. Always remember to move your eyes left to right, then right to left as you do, and some creepy music never hurts. :D

Congratulations on joining/re-joining the rat race.

As for me, well I have a long commute to work every day: those stairs get harder to get down every morning. Still, at least the traffic is light. As Douglas Adams once pointed out, the hours are good, though most of the minutes are pretty awful.
;)

Working alone would be a huge plus.
