Been hesitant to post this but, what the hell.
Linda and I are discussing staying married - but not living together. We both are very happy in our new places and we're getting along better now than we have in many, many years. Our time together, whether in person or on the phone, is quality. We don't get on each other's nerves all the time like we did before we split up. All we do now is help each other out and make each other laugh. I'm spending the day with her and the pets tomorrow. She's treating me to a Father's Day lunch. The three big reasons we'd like to stay married are: 1. Financial - the government and IRS like people who are married. 2. Social - all of our family and friends would love if we stayed together. 3. Psychological - we're still in love and never want to use the word EX. Finger's crossed.

I think the point here to remember is that nobody knows you better than you two do, so whatever you decide, **** the rest of us. You've been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
