The ****? About a decade ago I had my septum (between the nostrils) pierced but it's been closed for years. There's always been little bumps on either side of my septum from where the holes were but a few days ago they started feeling a bit irritated and then I thought they were feeling bigger like they were infected. Now the bumps just broke off when I was picking at them and it turns out they were little pieces of cartilage. No idea what that's about.
