I'd really like to get the creative writing thread up and running again, facilitating competitions and such. Please respond to this or pm me if you'd be interested in participating.

Depends what's involved. I'm writing a lot at the moment, with double-figure projects on the go, so depending on how much time is required, and so forth, maybe. Which thread do you refer to? We have "What Are You Writing Now?" - is that the one?

I'll probably just make a new thread for it, but I'm thinking weekly flash fiction challenges to start, where I'll introduce a prompt and then you have a week to get your piece in, we'll vote for our favorite, etc etc. You could opt in/out as desired.
