I still can't figure it out either. I don't think I've ever seen anyone successfully troll him. Either he somehow cuts their legs out from under them or makes you wonder if he's trolling back by pretending to not pick up on what they're doing.

Today I was actually thinking about how that was my fav Mindfulness troll. He broke the unbreakable troll rule: never look butthurt. And yet even though it was obvious you didn't mean anything by it he still somehow managed to make you look like a chump while he was above it all. I don't know how he did it but he pwned you.
