Richmond is in Virginia. Virginia is below the Mason Dixon line. The Mason Dixon line is the dividing line of the South. Virginia is where a large proportion of battles in the Civil War were fought because we were very important for the South.

I'm not sure where you're coming from unless you as a Connecticut Yankee know absolutely **** all about the South or the Civil War.

It’s a huge complicated mess and it tends to get really tribal. Mord has me (back then) pretty well pegged. I know you want to know exactly why raising a white family there is horrific. You must know how incredibly racist and xenophobic they are. thats cool Charles, knowing about the war is great and all. i bet you know more about it than i do for sure. im saying though, your whole state, just isnt a southern state
