I think the real twist though is that the ghosts in the house are afraid that a trio of humans and a cat are haunting them!!!!

Yup. It wasn't a movie. I saw this episode randomly and I couldn't figure it out.

No problem, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

A couple of weeks ago I started an IT course at a vocational training college. Due to a lot of the introductory stuff you have to do, and the fact that my tutor has been on holiday pretty much the whole time, some of the additional training (outside of the IT curriculum) I've had to do has been killing me. And by that I mean boring me to tears.

After today though, I could safely lift any box you place infront of me. Go on, try me. I'll lift the **** out of that thing.

I went through a similar thing, there was like 2 pointless modules, introduction to computers and introduction to word. But I understand not everyone will have the same experiences as me. Luckily my study is self directed. I am going to have to do some study today I've been really slacking!

It will pick up bb. :)

In 1981 Adam & The Ants came to Guernsey, I desperately wanted to go but I was way too young to be going to a gig. My Mother promised she'd take me another time.

Tonight she keeps her promise to me(And bought me a T Shirt) 32 Years later....

I've been doing health and safety in college every Friday afternoon for 7 weeks and still have the rest of the college year to go. :(:(

I just want the pub at that time on a Friday.

That sucks! What time do you get out of class?

I had to work a 13hr shift on Saturday and another 8 hour one on Sunday, a backshift tonight and tomorrow will be my first long lie. I can't ****ing wait.

Trollheart 05-01-2013 04:31 PM

Holy crap! Adam and the Ants are still gigging?? :yikes:
Fair play to your mother though. Don't forget to return the favour sometime. I remember bringing my ma (god rest her soul) to see Barry Manilow and she loved it. So did I, even though I pretended I was only there for her. When a guy behind me stood up at the end of some song and clapped shouting "Bravo! Encore!" my inner critic said what a dweeb, but really I wanted to join him... :shycouch:

Dayvan Cowboy 05-01-2013 04:33 PM

well, today my school got to see a really badly acted out mock train collision

For all of the turmoil that people feed Barry Manilow he really is one of the better singer song writers in Popular Music. And yeah that guy was a total dweeb. :p:

You should have dressed up in a black cape, gotten a girl to lay on the tracks, and then acted like you were tying her up. Extra points if you can find a fake mustache to twirl as you laugh evily.

I still got my Snidley and Penelope glass's from childhood. Never found one with the dog that snickers though.

PoorOldPo 05-03-2013 01:09 PM

Congratulations, Engine. No playing God now or creating anything that would be an affront to man and nature. Well, okay, maybe just one, but don't make a habit of it! :)

Seriously, well done. Take long to get there? Lot of work I assume...

Thanks! It could have been done with 7 or 8 years of school post high school, but it took me twenty because I like to take long breaks. Like decade-long ones.

Vanished objects don't actually vanish.
What happens is that small humanoid creatures (not microscopic ones, they're usually 1 or 2 inches tall) come and take them somewhere else. Usually they don't take them far, but too far for normal sized people to bother looking.

How can we defeat the giant radioactive ants?

Well reasoned, poorly phrased. You may now enter the Ravenclaw common room.

We can expose common house cats to gamma rays until they become ultra-intelligent. Then give them cans of ant spray and let nature take its course.

An excellent plan! But we really need you to explain it with a pointer and some diagrams.

By the way, congratulations! :)
