UPDATE:

So I've been to court a few times already and they just keep rescheduling the date because my DWI is apparently such a high profile case it nearly made the headlines of every mainstream news network. In any case I'm being considered for what's called P.T.D (Pretrial Diversion). Essentially it's probation for 12-18 months but without having to go through the court system. If I maintain good behavior and piss clean and stay out of trouble for that amount of time, my case will be dismissed. I'll have to pay a lawyer to legitimately get it expunged but for now, getting it dismissed is absolutely fine with me. If applying for jobs they ask me about it, I could then tell them I was accused of being drunk but I wasn't so it was dismissed. Case closed. I'm hoping I get in this program because staying out of trouble is my middle name and I'm positive I can do it to completion. I'm already convincing myself I wasn't drunk that night.
