Ah, that sucks. I've been there plenty of times before myself, it all builds character. True, it doesn't make things suck any less at the time, but that's life eh.

I'm supposed to be putting a trailer online today, but there's one tiny little bit of it where the audio isn't quite up to snuff - sounds a little off. I've spent the last two hours trying to figure out how to fix it - amplifying, running a high pass filter, manually isolating and removing background noise - and I'm not getting anywhere. This is like a week of hard work being held back by a few seconds of subpar audio. Maybe I'm just overthinking it cos I'm nervous, I dunno.

Even worse is when it takes more than one date to figure that out.

Thanks man. Yeah it sucks. It was the first time in years that I put myself out there and look what it got me.

But you're right. It builds character. Just sucks right now

That's really poor to not turn up and then not respond or text you or anything.

I'd be embarrassed if that was me.

Have you spoken and found out why? It's unlikely but maybe there was an emergency or something. I'd wait to let them explain themselves first.

Either way keep putting yourself out there. You're clearly getting positive feedback so carry on mate.
