I think my bike was like $300 and that was about as low as the shop went but it's a decent bike and the shop is on my way to work so I always have a place nearby to go when I pop a tire. Shrug.

i think even if you have disposable income it just makes sense to be frugal/shop around for the best deal/most bang for your buck.

It's quality. I cycle 24 km to and from work every day. Work paid for my bike.
