Second day of classes over. Got a student subscription to NYT and was hired as web technician for the school newspaper. Had a hearty lunch of mostly broccoli and carrots and will probably be eating more of the same for dinner. Once start getting paid I'm gonna buy some parts so I can hook my Gamecube up in my dorm.

how long were you there? here at least i know landlords can't count carpet condition against you (within reason) after 3 years I think.

also as someone who has moved around/rented a lot it's worth it to buy a carpet shampooer.

I'm finally moving out of the parents house after more than a year of trying to save and find an apartment. Moving to a small but up and coming city only about 30 minutes away from the shop. The place is expensive and there's nowhere to park but I love the place and it has basically everything. Art house theater, bookstore, international food, a downtown, trains to the city, culture. Feels good man. Now just have to accept the fact that I'm going to be broke for a while.
