Indica can have less, as, or more THC than sativa (and vice versa) just as hybrids can have less, as, or more THC than either one or both.
The amount of THC a plant produces depends on plant genetics and, to a lesser degree, how the plant is grown, under what conditions, and whether it's growing in the wild or is being cultivated by a grower and the level of experience/skill of the grower.

Also, pure sativas and pure indicas are few and far between these days. The vast majority of weed strains currently being sold in the legal shops are hybrids.

There are sativas with higher CBD than most indicas too.

What you say about things being closer to hybrids than true sativas or indicas these days is true though. Hard to find true strains like these these days

my stuff top level marijuna, i dont even know if my shop sells stuff lower than 20% THC that isnt CBD..low THC bud is like 3.2% alcohol beer to me
