I was browsing washing machines and on half of them they won’t tell you the price until you put it in the cart (online).

One time I couldn’t figure why it was so hard and expensive to get a part for my car. It turned out that GM had not only discontinued the part but they didn’t allow anyone else to make it either. You’re from Iowa and a machinist, you probably know they do that **** to farmers all the time. Make it hard af to replace a simple but not easily replicated single part of a big expensive machine. Those farmers are smart ****ers so they find ways to work around that **** but it still wastes their time and energy and they shouldn’t ****ing have to do it.

machinists can make a bunch of money from the metal scrappings and scarp from the parts they make

if they are allowed to collect the scrap at work. ive learned the value of small metal parts for big machines like submarines or airplanes, to even tractor parts

**** even the tolerance for the parts is serious. some machinists here have their own mills and lathes and make bank on self contracts too

I could never. I tried crate training when he was a pup and he just cried and tore up his snoot trying to break free. I gave up after like 30mins. He needs exercise and mental stimulation and socialization so daycare is perfect for when I'm at work. He's been going for like 2 years now, he has a ton of dog friends.
