Unawareness of anyone else on a sidewalk seems to transcend pet ownership among the whites in my experience, it just sounds like you're scared of dogs. Parents with flocks of kids are much worse tbh.

I guess I give off stronger "get the **** out of my way" vibes since most people slow down to let me pass them. Just do it with confidence, dawg. I'm sure carrying the machete helps too.

Reminds me of my racist uncle talking about jogging at like 4am in his not so great neighborhood with a 2x4 in his hand for protection and seeing some black guy walking down the road toward him who turned around when he saw my uncle so obviously he must have been up to no good since who could possibly feel threatened by a guy running at you at 4am holding a length of wood.
