Popular hip hop these days use the 808 drum machine more often in the fruity loops era of music production.

I prefer Ableton, personally. But yeah lol I avoid the 808 at all costs.

I have drum kits with 808s. Tons. Even a plug in imitating one but I don't have a literal 808 machine.
