They did a great job of incorporating that pool into the story. I wish it didn’t cut off before Tony started crying “My son!”

I love at the end where they give AJ a **** but cush job working in a club and buy him a sports car and all his existential angst is gone.

Right, you're just harassing Trollheart with advice he didn't ask for and stroking your murder boner with a dog's bullet ridden skull.

When she’s sick and can’t enjoy life anymore which I realize is an inevitability.

Quit stroking your murder boner by saying I should hire an overpriced hit man that doesn’t even love my dog. Is it ok with you if I fix my own car?

He said he didn't want advice. Be respectful.

I don't equate living beings with objects but I'm sure that that makes murder easier for you. I'm guessing you're a fan of killology.

In the midst of another move. I forgot to mention it here but our upstairs neighbor and the apartment design with the thinnest walls of all time was just too much so when we found a nicer place and could get out of our lease, we took the opportunity.

Moving every month sucks balls. Next move is a house. We have all the big stuff moved but there's still so much little sh*t to move...plus my records which I didn't move yet because of rain. I have 1200 records. It sucks every time.

Exo, I can't stand living in thin walled/floored homes, and me being a light sleeper doesn't help that mindset either. Hope you get to a comfortable place.

Yeah, that comment wasn't directed at you. It's a Simpsons thing and if you check I tend to say it a lot. It doesn't refer to anyone at all. It's just, you know, a comment for fun. Sorry if you thought it was aimed at you, it was not.

That's when I figured I'll tell you what I think if you wanna provoke me. I know it's a sensitive subject which is why I originally abstained from offering said advice.
Again, was not provoking you. You took that one up entirely wrong. Maybe that's my fault; if you're not familiar with my humour, I guess it could be misinterpreted that way. Apologies.
Quote:

but I'm not offended by you rejecting my advice. I just called BS on you saying i didn't have the qualifications to offer an opinion.
You don't, and I've explained this thoroughly. I'm not going to keep (forgive the bad animal metaphor) flogging a dead horse here.
Quote:

The real truth is I was saying something you don't agree with and weren't receptive to, period. It wouldn't matter if I did have a cat for 18 years and then mourned him for another 18 years. You still would reject the opinion because you've made up your mind. It is what it is. Like I said before it's your choice and I take no offense at you not agreeing with my opinion. I wish the best for both you and your cat.
No I would not. If this was, say, Key, who has had cats all his life, giving me the advice I would listen to it. However I DID NOT ASK for it, so again I'm confused as to why you offered it.

I am somewhat offended at him telling me i just don't get it cause I didn't own a cat for 18 years. As if I don't understand loss.

I don't believe I ever said you didn't understand loss; I said you don't understand the loss of a pet. You said that yourself. You don't get it. So why would I consider you qualified to speak on such a subject as the possible mercy killing of my pet??

And I'm even more offended when someone tells me I'm dead inside just cause I dont love cats the way they do.
Hmm, again, not me. You should have talked to adidass about that, but you included it in your tirade against me.

Don’t at me with your paragraphs.

Don't what at you? Also, you know I'm a tealdeer/wall of text guy, but I thought in the circumstances it was important that I made my position clear.

I also think they’re ripping you the **** off charging you expensive treatment for an 18 year old cat that’s obviously dying and has no quality of life.

I hope that was sufficiently frank to get my message across directly. Sorry for beating around the bush about it earlier.

I see you've been banned again. However, you didn't make your point clear the first time, just asked me out of the blue how much I'd charge someone to board their cats. Vets are a business, just like anywhere else and I don't expect to get free board and bed for my cats. I thought it was reasonable for the amount of time they were there, even if the figure was daunting. Amd my vet does NOT, again NOT sell me or try to sell me products, in fact he always advised me against expensive procedures or medication if it was not justified, and often gave me free medication to take home, like if they had been using it on one of my cats while he or she was boarding and they needed the treatment to continue, and he had some left. I wouldn't be charged for that.

As an example, Spooky, one of my older cats, was in a bad way and pretty much close to the end, and he said we could test for her cancer (or something) but it would be very expensive and in the end might not matter, so he actually advised me against spending money unnecessarily.

When you get back, if you read this, stop tarring everyone with the same pessimistic brush. My vet rocks.

Exactly. I don't know why these guys can't take no for an answer and find something else to do. How ya been, Frown? Missed ya. How's Cali?

I can’t believe a veterinarian with an education and proper licensure running a business in a capitalistic society would make a profit using their professional skills to care for unwell animals, what a bunch of ****ing crooks. /s
