it's a bit different; kwaadaardig genoegen is malevolent pleasure, but leedvermaak is exactly the same as schadenfreude, so specifically a malevolent pleasure in someone else's misfortune

Been in a good mood today, some days recently so crazy, im just yelling at the computer. my neighbors probably hearing and like this dude freaking out over ebay

So I woke up at 3am with a slightly sore throat, like the least sore throat ever but it's definitely a something so I called out of work. So 17 hours later and it's gotten no worse beyond the faintest muscle soreness and I'm just wondering if this was the lamest cold ever, the first shot is kicking COVID's ass, or if it's just waiting till tomorrow to kick me in the balls. Thankfully mother is fully vaccinated so I'm not too worried about her but I've still been hiding in my room all day watching YouTube in bed.

Usually, the first dose isn't the one that kicks your ass -
mild arm soreness and maybe a bit tired.
It's the second one that usually hits you 18- 24 hours later
that brings on the mild fever and possible achiness.
