Yeah, but I'm taking Metoprolol so my heart doesn't accelerate. They're thinking I'm taking too much of it at this point, thus the Bradycardia. I'm also on lots of Potassium so that could also be a factor. Anyway, I'm fine when I'm not doing anything. It's when I exert myself when I really feel it.

I hope so Mucha, yesterday wasn't much fun, that's for sure.

It's weird living in a flat.

I lived in one all my life
But now I live on my own

And suddenly I listen much more to the "neighbours"
And the"neightbourhood noise"
And I tend to experience more, of what you could call: the feeling of "this neighbourhood is my home"

The flat solidarity or whatever

I mean, there's some serious argument going on upstairs.
I can hear through the walls that there's a couple upstairs having a fight.

A serious fight.

And, like, she's screaming and he's shouting
And I'm pretty sure he is banging his fists around the walls.
Like in a state of uncontrolled-helplessness.

It's 9pm btw

And I don't know what to do
Should I knock on their doors?
Should I call the cops?

It's coming from the same apartment that was playing techno music for 48h (Sunday/monday [at 5:00,Tuesday, I started stabbing the ceiling with a broom]) strait.

She's freaking throwing chairs around

We're at downtown capital city ffs

I thought this kind of thing only happened at the suburbs type of habitat

It was at first, but not quite as scary as my embolism eight years ago. I had similar symptoms at one point but, unlike the embolism, I improved a little so I thought I might be okay. Everything's still a little screwy though but the tests checked out okay.

So, I'm hanging in there

So, I'm guessing you're getting back to normal (demoted)?

Thanks, GoodStuff. That is a useful piece of info.

Sorry I can't advise about your neighbours' noise, though your story reminds me of one of my own: a usually quiet young couple lived below me: one evening I heard raised voices, which was very odd, then suddenly, out of the blue came the girl's voice, crystal clear: "It's my f*cking life!" then it went quiet again.
Something tells me they were having a full and frank discussion on the topic of marriage, babies, or both.

After I discovered a new thing called a "coronary calcium scan,"
I'm now a big believer in everyone getting one - starting at 40,
but earlier if you have or had a relative with a bad heart.
You can have low cholesterol, but not even know that you
may have dangerously high coronary calcium.
The reverse can be true too: high cholesterol, but little
or no coronary plaque. People with low cholesterol think
they're in the clear until that day comes when their
heart gives out. It's a relatively new, but super easy
procedure that takes only a few minutes on a table
as the run a CT scan on you and give you a printout.
Most insurance doesn't cover it yet (too new?),
but it was the best $79 I've spent in a long time.
