Got a surprise message from old friends in my old hometown saying, "remember that real estate photographer you met at our New Years party? He'd like a tour of your home and a guided architecture shooting adventure downtown today. We can be there in an hour and a half. Are you decent?"

In 30 minutes flat, I treated and scrubbed the porcelain, swept and dusted the house, straightened all the antiques, got the house showroom-ready, and put on a vintage suit. I gave him the grand tour and discussed resale potential before taking them on a tour of the cemetery and Millionaire's Row downtown. He took a ton of great portfolio shots and loved my home.

I usually need a week's prep time but I am incredible under pressure. It was a good day!
