adidasss 11-14-2005 04:35 PM

faster than a speedin bullet!!! yeeeeehaaaaaaa!!!.....:( 365kb/s....but i simply can't believe the rate at which the songs download, it's like someone's fastforwarding a movie, in one minute it's here!!! un-fucking-believable...i can barely put the next song to download and the previous one is already here...i've been looking at the little progress bar on shareaza all day with a smirk on my face( haha...how sad is that ) ..and i'm loving the fact that i can talk on the phone and be on line, and i don't have to get off when i'm not doing anything....amazing.....i've already downloaded 4 albums ( some 300mb )....hehe....and i've only just begone.....and it's all free(and completely illegal)!! for the first 2 months i don't pay for the traffic......:)

madeinNY 11-14-2005 04:50 PM

And just think, people have been doing that for years, and thats why 75% of the worlds population is overweight....no one ever gets off their damn computers, lmao.

madeinNY 11-14-2005 04:58 PM

Hahaha. It's so weird that we should be talking about this because for the last half hour I've been sitting at my computer eating mini cookies and a 2 liter of cherry 7-up. hahahha

ladyluckrules 11-16-2005 11:41 AM

Well this is more of a 'your last night'.
But I saw alkaline trio at their first England gig of the Autumn/Winter tour.
Waiting outside were just hundreds of scene, emo, rockabilly blah blah kids.
Most were wasted and came up to us introducing themselves, usually the coversation was along these lines
''Hi my names dally'' *drugged up friend buts in* ''HE LIKES THE COOOCK HE LIKES THE COOCK AND SOME MUFF BUT SOMETIMES COOCK''.
So after waiting outside with random people on the steps for about an hour we finally got in and I managed to get about one person away from the barrier. So after hearing some band that was good technically but their singer completely ruined it, he was nasal, barely comprehensible, chucked the stuff people chucked at him back and swore a lot mainly in german, they were just some bizarre mix of techno and emo :\
Then Mike this guy came up and we loved him instantly. He played anti-racism songs (he'd faced a lot of racism in his childhood becuase he was one of about four asian kids in his school) acoustic as well as a song about a girl from the t.v show in america, degrassi high, 'I'm in love with a girl called spike'. And generally just kept everyone hanging to every word he said, plus he had a crush on the merch girl. So he was great, we all really liked him and he consoled our ears after that catastrophe of a band before hand.
And then Alkaline Trio came on with Time to Waste. The set list was something like: Time To Waste, Private eye, Sadie,Fall Victim, We've had enough, She took him to the lake, Smoke, Apocalypse, This could be love etc. With everyone screaming the words and spraying water at each other, I lost my scarf and shoe (for a minute) in all the jumping and crushing.

Anyways all in all a really great night, they really were good live despite the pretty poor sound quality the venue had and we danced home.

Imonlydancing 11-16-2005 11:45 AM

^ OMG. Yerrrr.
I was meaning to ask about thattt.

Hehe.
Meh.
May aswell tell you about my day...

It sucked. School sucks.
But. I sat in the corridor on the floor, and DIDNT! get moved for once...joy.
I went to a boys school on a CCF bus with the cool year below EMO kids. :]
Saw my friend and brought POKEMON related crappp.
Went to my friends with an afros house.
Yay.

Sounds fun...I'll be your friend through thick and thin...

Watched Dylan at the MEN earlier tonight.
Our tickets were for the "nose bleed" seats on the second tier (enough to give you vertigo).
Due to the poor acoustics of the MEN arena, Dylans unitelligable mutterings and the fact he looked as big as my thumbnail, I have to say it was dissapointing.
'A Hard Rains Gonna Fall', 'All Along The Watchtower' and 'Lay Lady Lay' being the highlights of the night.

Not once did Dylan play guitar, instead he stuck to his keyboard throughout, breaking off occasionally to suck and blow on his harmonica.
Nor did he speak until the oncore ('Like A Rolling Stone') to mumble, "Was that good enough for you?"

Frankly Bob...no it was'nt!

Too true!
Yes, she loved every minute of it (through a pair of binoculars).
And if the wife's happy...then I am too! :o:

Merkaba 11-16-2005 10:11 PM

^ Is that because of the flow on effects?;)

My day was kinda bad, it kinda.... really ****in sucked!
I had my first day of exams today. I had an English exam in the morning and an Economics one in the Afternoon. English was alright, I had an essay to do on Shakespeare so it was never going to be that fun. I've always wondered why that clown went out of his way to make English difficult. But then again he was here first so maybe we've just dumbed it down.

Economics however was a big flop. I have always done semi alright at commerce but today I was swimming without my life jacket and I just got swamped in a tsunami of definitions and graphs, all relating to rising petrol prices and what would happen when a company is forced to operate at the socially desirable output blah blah blah wheres my bullet. So I answered as much as I could and now I feel as drained as if i've just run a marathon, without the sore legs.

Can't wait for my sleep in tomorrow:D

adidasss 11-17-2005 04:29 PM

day 4 of living with a complete stranger. this man is incredible, i go online to check for new posts and he sits on a chair next to me and watches......it's incredible!!...and it's so annoying trying to comunicate with someone who's every other reply is "what?" his wife and daughter will be joining us during the weekend, so i will be living with 3 people whom i never saw in my life......oh what fun!!!

madeinNY 11-18-2005 09:29 AM

Oh that's just so fun for you, now isn't it?

No seriously, that would suck, I'm sorry its happening to you.

jibber 11-18-2005 09:13 PM

madeinNY 11-19-2005 07:56 AM

I'll do yesturday and then today....

Yesturday: woke up a little after 7, thinking I had to go to school...but I got to stay home sick because it turns out I have laryngitis...sucks. So I stayed home, went online, and at night I drank a bunch of tea with honey (it's supposed to help with losing your voice.) and watched Will&Grace and Degrassi. Then I conked out on the couch....then went back to bed at 4 AM. I also ate some eggs&ham somewhere in between there. And I also watched Titanic on HBO and cried my eyes out...again. It's like the 100th time I've seen it, heh.

Today: I got up at 7. Got online, and am currently very cold. I think I'm going to have some more tea.

mosesandtherubberducky 11-19-2005 04:14 PM

I woke up with a head cold and then played Diablo II for 4 hours because there was nothing better to do. And now I'm on MB and about to take a shower

demon hunter 11-19-2005 09:15 PM

Thats cool

I've just woken up so I am going to say what I plan to do today.
Ok, I am going to drink my orange juice and wait and see if I can keep it down. If I can keep it down I am going to make some toast, but sadly I cannot put anything on my toast for fear of losing it in the toliet because I am still sick. Then I am going to try to get a couple of my friends to get on this game that we play. Then if they want to play I'll play that for an hour or two and hopefully lvl. up. Then I'll spend the rest of my day until 8:00 sleeping or playing Diablo II or eating if I feel the need too. Then at 8:00 I am going to watch the Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad.

That is my day planned...wow I planned out my whole day, that is so cool

Imonlydancing 11-20-2005 08:35 AM

Awwh.

Hah.
But it's not like she's shown us a pixelture.
Unless guessing how old people type is offensive nowdays.

I'll take a shoot at 58.

Imonlydancing 11-20-2005 11:48 AM

I'm guessing...umm...5?
eeeeeeee.
I meant guessing she was 12 if she's 18.

Merkaba 11-20-2005 01:00 PM

I'm gonna say 13, because she knows where the capital letters go.

Imonlydancing 11-20-2005 01:02 PM

^ Yes Yes.
Probably about that age...

I have another thing to add to my day.
I went to the shop with my brother and took a really cool photo of him.
Wanna see it?
Yeh?
