do you hate being with people, or what i said?

adidasss 10-04-2005 04:05 PM

well, today i woke up at 9:00am ( which means i sleapt for 4 hours ), went outside to get the papers and on the front cover it said " carla del ponte says we are cooperating fully with the Haage tribunal" which meant the last obstacle for us joining the EU has been removed, i was extatic, watched the news to corroborate it, and continued to beem with pride, my happiness was interrupted by a phone call by my mother telling me that "Uncle Sam" sent me a notice to appear on the 7th of december before the draft commity in order to be drafted....my heart stopped...i forggot to send a note from my collegge to extend my deadline for the army duty....so i rushed to collegge to get the note and tommorrow i'll send it back home and hope for the best...this can't happen to me....not now...if i stop going to collegge now i'll never be able to get back to studying....but i'm sure it won't....i'm sure of it.....

right-track 10-04-2005 04:14 PM

Hope you get the extension mate...how long does the National Service last for?

adidasss 10-04-2005 04:19 PM

luckily it's down to 6 months....but that's a VERY...VERY LONG TIME for me.....Jesus, i can't even imagine being in the army...i'm sooo not the type....

right-track 10-04-2005 04:27 PM

6 months isn't too bad.
When National Service was in Britain during the 50s, as soon as the basic training ended, there was a good chance you'd be sent on active service!!

No...I'm not that old to remember it...

adidasss 10-04-2005 04:34 PM

yeah, it's not too bad, but i'm really not counting on going at all, i'm planning on doing civil service instead, it lasts 10 months, but you get to stay at home....would be wonderful....but you have to have a good reason for not going....

Went bowling tonight ,didn`t do very well. I came third last only beating my sister & a guy with one arm.

Still the chinese meal & all the drinks we had afterwards made it worthwhile.

Scarlett O'Hara 10-08-2005 08:56 PM

Today I went to work, pissed off my workmate, came home, showered, then ate chips. Exciting times.

Good luck John. Hope his condition improves.

adidasss 10-10-2005 01:18 PM

sorry about your friend fenix, hope he gets better....

.angie. 10-10-2005 01:21 PM

I stayed home all day. I didn't want to go to school, 'cause life sucks. So I've been sitting here all day. How fun, right?

Hope your friend gets better, Fenix. :)

I went Christmas shopping. I know it's early, but I always have the Christmas spirit early every year. I bought my daughter her first stereo. (she's 11) I got my son (also 11, twins) a beginner electric guitar and practice amp. He's always banging around on my acoustic guitar, but it's too big and bulky for him, plus the strings hurt his fingers.

I also bought my daughter some of those big fuzzy combination socks/slippers. I can't say what I bought my wife, because I don't know if she'd read this or not.

I also measured the windows and front door for my new Christmas lights.

Man, it is going to be a loooong wait for Christmas.

adidasss 10-10-2005 05:37 PM

hahha, you sound like my sister, she gets in the spirit right about now( only , her problem is that she starts listening to christmas music in october...), which i think is a bit insane, but whatever floats your boat..:)

anticipation 10-10-2005 06:26 PM

Fenix, how's your friend today?

Hope he's o.k.

adidasss 10-11-2005 01:01 PM

i went to the dentist today, and in the waiting room i saw this amazing and strange display of affection between an older man and his son ( about 14-15 ), the boy was sleepy and tired of waiting for his mother to come out, so he put his head on his father's knees while the father scrathed his back....and from that single gesture you could tell they have this loving and easy going relationship, i felt so strange seeing it....i don't know anybody that has that kind of relationship with their father....

shandapanda 10-11-2005 05:23 PM

^that's cute...
my day was nice, i went to a jazz concert and it was cool..made my day and the only thing worth posting..

tdoc210 10-11-2005 06:08 PM

omg your friends hurt thats horrible

Fenixpunk 10-12-2005 08:37 AM

i got home last night and kelly left a note on my door saying that johns MRIs came back looking better than the doctors originally thought, and hes going to be ok. I havent had a chance to talk to him to get any details but it sounds like hes going to be able to walk but has a pretty rough road ahead of him. He wont be playing anytime soon though. Lots of therapy and time in a neck brace. But its still good news.

tdoc210 10-12-2005 08:41 AM

thats good to hear that hes not going to be unable to play again

*gasp* what did you get done?

Fenixpunk 10-17-2005 12:34 PM

i dont have a pic of it yet, but this will give you an idea

i covered up this tat from 10 years ago
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...nk/newtat1.jpg

with the same sign, just bigger and bolder (midsleeved about an inch and a half thick), so it kinda looks like this:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...xpunk/tat2.jpg

to give you an idea of the size, it evens out with my other arm:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...xpunk/9f13.jpg

my wife is getting this done next weekend below her neck, between her shoulders:

(minus the word "illuminati)

adidasss 10-17-2005 01:55 PM

wow, what doesn your wife's tat mean ( if anything )?

Fenixpunk 10-17-2005 02:19 PM

it refers to an organization or "secret society" which controls all world affairs behind the scenes, like New World Order. Interesting stuff, you should read up on it if you havent heard of it before.

adidasss 10-17-2005 02:22 PM

like the free masons?

Fenixpunk 10-17-2005 02:23 PM

yep

adidasss 10-17-2005 02:44 PM

does she think it's for real or does she just like the purdy picture?

what do you think adidasss.

anticipation 10-17-2005 02:45 PM

today i found out that male dolphins kidnap and rape female dolphins.

*vomits*

ArtistInTheAmbulance 10-17-2005 02:49 PM

Dolphins are (apart from us) the only animals that have sex for pleasure.

How the hell they figure that out from "scientific research" I dont know...
