Yesterday I stayed up late working, and got to sleep in today. I have to make phone calls to some gents I really hate talking to. But I plan on procrastinating as much as possible.

For the last 10 years or so I have been extremely self conscious and anti social because of my rhotacism and my lisp.. until yesterday I found out that it was all in my head. As a little kid I would get made fun of anytime I tried to say a word with "r" in it. I naturally assumed I still had it until my mom asked why I kept saying words over and over again. I was actually trying this new trick out that said that it's all about tongue placement and that R is a lot like L. So I was estatic ...and confused and befuddled that it was all my head and then I decided to look up how to "cure" a lisp.. when that ended up being in my head too. It was both a good day.. and completely bizarre at the same time

Recovering from a 17 hour drive. In other words, MBing for hours and hours. :) I missed you guys.

For the second year in a row I pissed my best friend off AND am going to Vegas. They are related. So, the down side is I have a mad best friend, and on the bright side I'm going to Vegas for round 2- which will be fucking incredible.

Got woken up at 4am as my girlfriend went to work, got up at 8. Then undertook the 1.5 hour commute to my work. Hocked trackpants and football jerseys to illiterate boors for 6 hours and then came aboard a train packed with them.
As I came home, firstly I checked my ebay and discovered that my guitar had sold! Woo!.

Started off slowly at 1pm when I awoke hungover at the parent's house. Grabbed a new sound system :D and headed back to my place to set it up. Lunch with the fajah. Then hid in my room to listen to music until about midnight and hit some ****ty bars with some good friends. Rockbanded it up afterwards til 5 and was swimming in the ocean, watching the sunrise at 6:30. I just got done cookin' breakfast and then I'm crashin' harrrd. Currently listening to: Grails' Burning off Impurities. It gets better and better.

it was fun
and today is band practice

The wife's done her back in and she's going to have a difficult day supervising the kids.
Her well being is of much concern to me and I hope she doesn't over do things.
As I type I can see her struggling to put the washing on the line. It's a beautiful summers day here in Manchester for a change.

Just about to settle down in front of the TV to watch the FA Cup Final with a few beers.
Not bothered who wins this one as I can't stand either club, or it's supporters. Still, it's cup final day innit!

Just about to open my first beer (it's 9:30 am here), and watch the game myself. My buddy who is a die hard Everton fan is coming over, I have no interest in either team either but I hope Everton takes it simply due to the contrast in pay scale
