One of my cousins from Australia keeps moving here but she's usually here anywhere up to 6 months or so and then goes home. She's just been yo-yo'ing between Australia and England for a few years now to the point I'm not sure she will ever settle wherever she is.

As for the rally you went to it reminds me of arguments I have with anyone I know who is pro BNP. Theres taking a stance on illegal immigration and then out and out ignorance where it would seem that these people would happily see anyone who isnt white and British sent home. That would work. Hopefully they wouldnt get sick because there would be no fucking doctors left, unless of course we start to train all the white, British dole scum and benefit dodgers into medicine.

Ha yeah... I'm like that too. I love to travel but I always get homesick and have a calling that pulls me back home.

And yeah my main problem with ignorant people like that is that Australia has always been a multicultural country, and always will be. That's what makes us the country that we are. We are incredibly close to Asia, in fact Indonesia is closer in distance to us than New Zealand is, so there is a constant stream of different cultures coming and going from here and there has been for over like a hundred years. Half of the people rallying for a 'white' Australia have families from European countries like Greece and Italy anyway so they were once immigrants too. It's just ridiculous.

Another boring day for me, just done my weekly shop though, plenty of food now!

Currently sat about reading in the garden with some music on. Probably pop down to Headingley to watch some pointless County Cricket for a few hours before tea, then I'll probably spend the evening watching TV, maybe watch a movie or some episodes of World At War and retreat to bed to read. Wake up tomorrow, and repeat.

Most people get to a point where they sit down and do nothing, but that's when they're in their 70s, I'm 23, and yet since I dropped out of school in 3rd grade I live a sheltered life of reclusiveness of which I feel there is no real way of escaping. There's all these things I'd like to do, write, take up some kind of art, etc. But I'm unmotivated because I just can't build up the confidence to do anything and expect to go anywhere with it, because my life is just a back catalogue of failure.

I'm a school dropout who's never so much as made eye contact with a girl and don't even know how to drive, can't even find anyone to teach me. I can't get a job, for a variety of reasons, even though I want one.
Try a community college for art maybe? Just get your GED.

I'm not surprised you didn't foster hate for your parents/grandmother. Any emotion is better than no emotion.

Well, my grandmother always tells me that she never got to raise her own children like she wanted to, so she's very obsessed with sheltering me, even at 23 she doesn't really think I'm capable of doing very much.

She always wants to make me feel special as if I'm retarded or something, she started home schooling me because she couldn't deal with all the bullying I went through in public school.

And yeah I'm still very bitter about completely missing out on that aspect of social life.

I would break everything off with her, personally. By the sounds of it she is going to want to keep you forever.

I'm the opposite, I pretty much lost contact with my parents/guardians/whatevs completely when I was 17. I'm 21 now and still don't see them very often but I think achieved way more than they could have ever helped me with.

Sometimes you just have to let go.
