Went out with a friend of mine to eat, and we decided to drive half an hour into the county and eat at a dive near where my dad grew up. It was one of the best atmospheres of any restaurant I've ever been in; the people there were so friendly. There was a rook game going on at the long table, and a lot of regulars helped us feel welcome. The servers there were superb and talked to us about just anything. I think that my friends and I are going to start frequenting that place more often. Beats the hell out of all of the chain restaurants around here.

Now today, I've got rehearsal, my aunt's birthday party, and then a party at a friend's place with the lady I'm interested in...should be another good day!

It's a card game that people play around here with a slightly different deck than the regular 52 card deck. I've only ever played it a few times, so I'd be really bad at explaining the gameplay exactly. Basically, the way it's played is to discourage real "gambling," though.

Interesting. Based on the name, I was picturing some kind of chess variant or something.

wow you need to take it easy.

when you start getting to that point. Try to get some time out for yourself even if it's just 5mins and use a coping method.

Easiest way to do this 5mins break is just pretend like you need to use the bathroom and lock yourself in a stall for a bit.
