That doesn't make sense. Light has to enter your eyes for the light sensitive cells in your retina to detect them. If light isn't reflecting off a surface, how will light waves enter your eyes, except by traveling directly to your eyes from a light source? If, in another universe, light was everywhere, all the time, and not reflecting, then that would be really bad light, as you wouldn't be able to make out anything.

There's no useful reason for us to be able to see actual independent light waves and photons. The very function of light, to us, depends on the fact that it is reflecting. We don't see objects. We see the way light reflects off objects. Light that allows that to happen, to me, classifies as good light.

To be honest, if there's anything I'd call "good" light. It's the kind of light that illuminates you in juuust the right way as to make you look absolutely smokin' hot regardless of how **** you're feeling. Now that's good light.

Karaoke is awesome! What songs did you all do / what is your favorite karaoke song?

Also, are you like me and get all irritated if someone else in the club does one of "your" songs? I get crazy mad if someone else does "Me and Bobby McGee", "Total Eclipse of the Heart", or "Last Dance With Mary Jane".

Edit: Also, "Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga.

My favorite Karaoke song is "You're the inspiration" by Chicago or "Hold the line" from Toto.

Today is the day...I get my airconditioning re-gassed in my car. Bloody hot muggy dustbowl Christchurch at the moment I normally prefer to roll with the windows down but since the earthquake everything smells bad and it's dust everywhere.

And I'm having the english for breakfast.

Spent the weekend in West Virginia watching my brother play some baseball. He's a catcher on a Division 2 team and they were only 2.5 hours away so my parents and I went down to see him since getting to see him ball is pretty rare. Not a great day for him at the plate. 1-3 with an infield hit and 2 strikeouts. His team didn't hit the ball real well in general. But it was nice to chill with him all day in the hotel and catch up on some things. He just broke up with his girlfriend of 3 years so we had a lot to catch up on and it's always great to see him, we've always been really close.

Had an eye doctor appointment at 9 today and slept right through it. First night in my own bed (spring break) and i was sleeping a little too comfy and didn't wake up til about 11. Luckily I got rescheduled for tomorrow so I can get a new box of contacts.

I'm also posting here to say I wont be on MB for awhile. Just not really a reason for me to come here anymore, I've realized my interest in music has only declined over the years and I just really don't feel like coming round these parts anymore. It's more out of habit than anything. I signed up on a sports forum which is mainly what I wanna talk about so I'll see you all when I see ya. Maybe a few days, maybe a few months, who knows. I'm not gonna ask for a ban, that is stupid in my opinion. It's just a forum to me and not some kind of internet addiction. See you in the future. Peace.
