I walk to friend's houses, parties, stores, and the like, sometime using the train for assistance. On top of that I take a daily five mile walk for leisure. Used to take the dog along but he's sick these days and can't make it very far.

Severe thunderstorm warning and tornado watch in effect for the Toronto area today. Possibility of nickel sized hail. WTF. The storm has already started, mild for now. The power will probably go out too, you know - old neighbourhood with above ground lines and transformers and all that. My boyfriend and I were planning to go out this afternoon but I guess that's off.

First tornado watch of the season. Yes, we get them here on occasion but usually out in the country.

I'm just glad all that smoke from the wild fires in Canada isn't blocking out our sun anymore. That was some crazy stuff. It made my world look orange yesterday.
