Ha! I'm making between $84 and $105 per hour of actual work. Suck on that Frowny.

Then you don't make 10.60 an hour.

Cut back on the sauce, kiddo.

LOL @ the minimum wage jab. I actually make less than California's MW.

$10.60 vs. $11.00

But seeing as I average working only about 4-5 hours a week it's not bad. I enjoy being semi-retired and the bills are getting paid.
So you're making less than minimum wage. Luckily Cali is such a cheap state to live in so money problems must be causing no problems for you. Good thing you have dental to replace all those teeth you knocked out falling down those rungs on that Chinese-made ladder.

So bucky, how many of your gadgets were made in the USA?
Well I can say that none of mine were made in a sweatshop that I studiously avoided knowing about.

I get paid salary, so yes, yes I do. The extrapolated math is just to provide perspective.

I guess you haven't been paying attention throughout 2018. Linda and I separating was a financial windfall for both of us. Other than rent, utilities, and food, we have no bills and no debt.

Never dealt with a sweatshop. None of your toys came from one either. The level of quality and certification required from the legit China factories puts a lot of US places to shame. You're not going to win with your low brow broad brushing on this subject.

Perspective = feeling really sorry for how hard you have it while also being incredibly envious about how great your life is, right?

I'm sure that it's a complete coincidence that your separation coincided with the financial devastation of your company that also just so happened to coincide with your substance abuse problem that landed you in a psyche ward.

I'm also sure you totally followed up on that company line from the "mega-corporation" who you never suspected would destroy your business. I'll bet you even shook hands with a handpicked laborer who you didn't make eye contact with.

FOAD Frowny.

For those of you living in a cliche'd bubble about what factories are like in China:

A Dirty Word In The U.S., 'Automation' Is A Buzzword In China | Bostonomix

Quote:
In the United States, automation may be a politically dirty word. But in China, it's a buzzword for politicians and CEOs.
Quote:
Last year, China was by far the largest market for robots, with sales nearly equal to all of Europe and the United States combined.
Quote:
China President Xi Jinping has laid out an ambitious plan called MadeInChina2025 encouraging automation to ensure companies keep advanced manufacturing in the country.
Quote:
"The Chinese approach is less hamstrung by some of the political debates that we face in the United States," said Gregory Allen, a fellow at the Center for a New American Security who previously worked with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and advised a number of robotic startups around Boston. "So, for instance, in the United States right now, there’s a lot of concern over unemployment through automation of jobs. That is just not as much of a concern in China."
Quote:
"Right now, their primary problem in China is a labor shortage, not an unemployment crisis," Allen said.

The labor shortage he's referring to is tied to the country's prior one-child policy. By 2040, China's workforce is expected to shrink by 90 million people, according to data from the World Bank.
