I think you are sheltered and have no idea what being an adult is like.
There's a difference between work ethic as an isolated concept and work ethic as it exists in modern liberal society.

Funny, that’s what I think about anyone who lives in a halfway house. Literally sheltered and supervised because it’s been determined they cannot handle life in society without the state holding their hand.

Do you actually listen to yourself when you type dribble like this?
You could literally attach this sentiment to almost anything in life that's not always peachy and creamy.

Someone needs a tissue.

You know to be perfectly ****ing honest over the last few years I've come to the conclusion that, what the **** is so great about "adults"? By and large throughout all of history most "adults" have come to the conclusion that you must deal with the world you live in as it is and just get on with it. Work as you must to survive because you need to just "accept reality" to provide for yourself and your family and coming to any other conclusion is the province of effete intellectuals.

But it's societies full of adults who ignore everything that happens in those societies who allow for everything that makes the world a terrible place. They ignore genocides, inequalities, tyrants, invasions of other countries for the sake of stealing land and resources, etc, all so that they can just make their way through life as best they can because they can't be bothered and it's "mature" to simply accept reality no matter how it comes.

And who is it who makes societies actually worth living in for all of these adults? Philosophers who advance morality and political thought beyond the scope of the understanding of "adults", artists who express concepts "adults" abandon as not practical for survival. "Adults" are only valuable as cogs in a machine that only has value by disregarding the petty, shallow values of adults who in the end are nothing more than enablers for sociopathic leaders.

So **** you basically, you flat, boring ****

I'm not supervised... It just is a cheap option to live at while i try to get out from under debt

But you're right I'm far from a fully functional adult... I'm just now coming to grips with my failure to grow up when I should have... But in my experience, being able to endure hard work is definitely a better trait for survival than becoming suicidal over it. Call me crazy.

But yea I also take it your opinion with a grain of fair cause you seem miserable and want everyone else around you to share in the misery. You can't cope with whatever mistake you made that flushed your career down the toilet and so you hide behind the veil of false humility by saying nothing you accomplished was down to effort, only circumstance. Because then by extension you are also not responsible for your failures. There's one problem with that. The least humble thing I could do is blame everything that happened to me on circumstance. It's humble for Michael Jordan or Albert Einstein to say that. People with actual accomplishments.

For me or you, it's just cowardice. Hiding from your failures. Oh well.

more sour grapes

Every positive trait you lack "isn't worth having"

Yet you're not a philosopher. You're not an artist. You put more creativity into creating excuses than anything else.

Keep running from your own shaddow. Pussy.

I'm not the guy who only listens to braggadocio hip hop as a pathetic form of self-help book.
