I meant the place, Leeds. It's almost as bad as Live... oh, wait.

It should be good, you'll always be able to see someone worth watching. Except on the Saturday, you may struggle. The Friday looks pretty decent though.

I've never been nope, I choose Spain over going last year and someone mentioned it this year, but I never really considered it. The people I would've gone with (apart from a few) are a shower of c*nts, so if I was going I would've come and found you. I know what you look like! Plus I'm saving up for Tenerife next year, so £200+ on a Leeds ticket was a no go.

Don't diss on mah home.

Omg don't ever go to Leeds, it's so bad. I went for the day in 2005 and 2006 (I saw Arctic Monkeys when they weren't crap x) and loved it loads so went back in 07 and had an awful time, didn't go in 08 but went last year and am going this. The ticket price is a rip off but you have fun I guess, it's what you make it, but there are so many other festivals out there for better value.

I prefer festivals to holidays though, but thats just me.

Soz x

You saw the Arctic Monkeys when they weren't crap? That could be any year from 2005 to 2010. Humbug <3 so STFU.

I've been to Leeds for a day out a few years ago, it was rubbish. Manchester FTW. But I was really tempted to go this year, but there was a massive group and only like 4 people I like. Holidays > live music.

Sat on the beach with my headphones in. Bliss.

I meant live performance wise. They were atrocious last year at Leeds, but awesome subbing to Muse in 06. But I dig Humbug, I aint no h8er.

Hahahaha I love how you go for 'days out' everywhere. What do you even get up to? Leeds is awesome, I love Manchester but there are better places, you're just misinformed

And nah, I have to disagree, I've always had better times at festivals than going abroad. Not a fan of just sitting on the beach cos I absolutely hate the sun. Going to New York in January though which I'm looking forward to a great deal.

Oooh, yeah. I heard they weren't as good live as they were during WPSI(THIN), dunno what happened to 'em. Maybe all the drugs Al has been taking results in poorer live performances.

Well, I went to Leeds when I was about 12 or 13. Family thing. But I do go on a lot of days out, I just go and see the City, go shopping. Maybe have something to eat and a couple of drinks in the bars. When I went to Liverpool I went to the docks, so stuff like that really. I want to go to Newcastle next, I've never been there.

I don't like sitting on the beach much to be fair, I like the bars and the night life of holidays. Aw, I'm jealous. there's only a few places I want to go to - New York, Amsterdam, Italy, South of France. I can't see myself going to New York any time soon though. When you get back, you'll have to tell me all about it. My sister went New York for her 21st, the pictures she took just reminded me of Friends. The place looks amazing.

Oh man, Newcastle is such an anti-climax. My friend lives there for Uni and goes on about it so much. I went and it was.. alright, but nothing special at all. I'll definitely tell you about it yeah, I'm excited for it, never usually arsed about going away but I'm stoked for this cos it's something different to a middle of the road holiday to Spain or whatever. So unappealing to me.

The only holiday I've been on and loved was when I went skiing in France, that was so awesome. You off to see Arcade Fire in December btw?

after a crap week, i just woke up to my payslip stating that i've been paid an extra £400 for a quarterly bonus i was told i wasn't gonna be eligible for cos i didn't hit my sales quota. i appealed it cos i had loads of system faults so was therefore unable to achieve my target, but they declined it. seemingly they've came to their senses

off for a burrito with one of my friends in a bit, gonna chill the rest of tonight and then i have one more day in work til i'm off for eight, then leeds festival.. cannot wait to get that tent pitched and just unwind completely.

spent most of the day chilling out in my crappy hotel room in Van (a city in eastern turkey). I caught something a few days ago and was really sick, but then antibiotics seemed to start working later this afternoon so now im up and about. well, im hanging out in an internet cafe until sunset when the restaurants open again and i can grab dinner.

also finalized plans to meet up with another canadian guy tomorrow to head off into iraq. we'll be spending 5 days travelling around the kurdish controlled area in northern iraq, which should be pretty damn incredible.
