He's just a nice guy grindy! We must be respectful when our diplomats take the time to explain things to us.

Thankfully I had the good sense to quote that treasure.

I do think as a man it's less burdensome to live in the post first wave of feminism. All that **** about breadwinner and head of the household isn't any kind of life I ever wanted to live. If it weren't for the women's liberation movement we would be much more mired in that paradigm. I'm glad society has more tolerance for lazy sissies. To me, the heavily patriarchal world that previous generations lived in seems like it would have been far more oppressive.

Roughly twice as many of your ancestors are females than are males. Why? Because on average women tend to have at least one child, where as with men there is more of a disparity in reproductive success. This is basically sexual selection at work. So the men who fail to get women are judged not based on some arbitrary "rape culture." It's a much deeper insecurity that men endure in the face of being selected against by mother nature herself. Which is why it's "mother nature" and not "father nature." Women (or more specifically mothers) are the filter through which the genes for the next generation are selected. |
