No, he's arguing privileged people don't have a right to seek equality in areas where there isn't.. At least that's how i took it. Trying to make it sound bad if you say youre pro white or hetero rights.

He's interpreting the trend of the majority's demands for rights being demands for oppression as the rule.

What you both seem to be saying is that being a compartmentalized advocate does less for equality than being for equal rights for everyone.
