Batty I highly recommend the podcasts Last Podcast on the Left and Sword and Scale. They, among others, satisfy my morbid interests and are equally well researched and ****ed up.

The IRA were/are a terrorist organisation that bombed, shot and murdered men, women, children, Catholics, Protestants, British, Irish.... Just about anybody that didn't believe in a United Ireland were fair game.
Although, a lot of people around the world might see them as some kind of ''freedom fighters'' they should have been over here when 500lb bombs were going off in town centres and they were lifting parts of burned bodies off the streets with shovels and putting them in plastic bags.
Or stopping vans full of workers, letting the Catholics go, then lining up the Protestants outside the van and shooting them all.
